The Role:
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT services, with a special focus on Microsoft on-premises infrastructure, VMware administration, Microsoft 365 migration, Veeam backup solutions, and storage technologies.
You will have (essential):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT infrastructure roles focusing on Microsoft, VMware and Cisco Meraki technologies.
Experience in use of VMware ESXi 7.1.3, vSphere, and vCenter management.
Proven experience in planning and executing migrations to Microsoft 365 (including Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Intune).
Experience in using Veeam for backup, replication, and recovery tasks.
A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence
Availability for on-call duties and out-of-hours work as required
